Behind The Gloss

Today’s’ technology has lowered the bar on home production. Not that home produced content is crap or not up to snuff, but that it is all available now for anyone with that particular passion or desire to create. Not only that, but distributing material also is a lot easier, as is connecting with an audience. Damn!…you could do all of this from absolutely anywhere in the world, providing that you have an internet connection.

When I started out creating videos I was gobsmacked at what green screening could do. Coupled with a fair enough editing piece of software, an idea, and some basic knowledge (YouTube is good for some things), you can create a masterpiece. Not that these videos are masterpieces but you get where I’m coming from…

It still amazes me that you can do all of this on the hoof with your smart phone. Its like having a rocket in your pocket…you can film, edit, add text, special effects and a bunch of stuff, and upload it to the net. All from that piece of plastic, metal and glass we call a phone.

You could never have done that with a bakelite phone attached to a wall, let along even think that it would ever become a thing…

Anyway, such deep thoughts are part of Ambition Omnibus in that I always believe, how the trick works is not how the magic happens and that ethos is prevalent which you’ll see if you choose to come on board. go on…you know you want to…GO HERE TO SEE
